Using OpenLayers
A lot of running sites incorporate route editors, some are better than others. OpenLayers also have a nice editor and provides a good framework for displaying routes as well.
xping - multi target icmp-echo tool
After a few months making changes in an undocumented network, xping would give me an overview of caused side effects and audible feedback on "poor" decisions.
snmp2rrd - a simple poller
A periodic shell script had to be replaced and polling frequency increased. This resulted in snmp2rrd.
Hitman 2 Silent Assassin OGG Extractor
Hitman 2 soundtrack was good. But where was the sound bites and how to get them to WinAMP? It would appear to be concatenated OGG streams. h2sa_ogg (win32) will split the streams into separate files.
